jesus and maxx

possible repeat. written after gilroy - ed.

standing in the rain like it was a shower
much electricity without any power
without soap i won't come clean
i say what i know when i mean

dancing in a dark hall to the maxx
the kind of cork whose thumbs need no tax

not every wrong gets a bite
can't see in the dark that's too bright

everyone sitting down cannot stand
to be the one left with no hand

one of my old something you new
you bnorrowed turned to blue

no movie compares to the book
bite each hand that feeds the cook

the floor that won't dry will soon curl
salute no flag that won't unfurl

sing my dreams to sleep long before
ravens who say there's no more
.
